Synopsis[]
- Kilkapul summons a nightmarish reaper to eliminate Seiya and the others, and not even retreating to the Divine Realm is enough to stop its advance. After Mash and Elulu improve their skills, Rista resolves to step up her own game, as well.
Summary[]
Kilkapul admits to the party that he knows that he is not powerful enough to fight Seiya, so he exchanges the lives of his family, the village, and himself to invoke the greatest of summoning magic. Once he sacrifices himself, the reaper Crossed Thanatos is summoned. Seiya has Ristarte send the party to the Divine Realm. When they arrive there, they are shocked to discover that it has followed them. As the party is running away, Seiya reveals that he has a plan. On the temple roof, Valkyrie is painting when Crossed Thanatos destroys her piece, which angers her. She ultimately uses her ultimate skill, Gate of Valhalla, to finally get rid of it. Despite Valkyrie's warning about how the skill uses the caster's life force as a catalyst, Seiya is impressed enough to ask her to train him. Mash and Elulu then decide to head to Ariadoa's house. Meanwhile, as Ristarte heads to the bathhouse, Cerceus tells her that Ishtar wants to see her. At Ishtar's house, Ishtar tells Ristarte that the last of the Four Heavenly Kings is leading an army to overthrow the capital city. The next day, Ristarte arrives at Ariadoa's house to see how advanced Mash and Elulu's training has gone. They then head to Valkyrie's house. After Seiya clears up the misunderstanding involving his training, they head to Gaeabrande, where they see Wohlks Roseguard easily defeat Eraser Kaiser. When Ristarte wonders why Wohlks does not fight the fight the Demon Lord (Gaeabrande), he turns into a baby.
