Synopsis[]
- Elulu and the others are stunned that she is supposed to offer her life to become the ultimate weapon for defeating the Dragon Lord. The party reluctantly agree to go through with the ceremony, but trouble erupts when they have second thoughts.
Summary[]
Leviae explains to everyone about a legend states that the Demon Lord can be defeated using the Igzasion, which can only be forged when a female dragonkin of human appearance offers her life. When Mash protests, Leviae reveals that the Demon Lord's forces control 70% of Gaeabrande. Leviae then offers everyone a feast prior to conducting the sacred sword ceremony.
Later that night, Ristarte, Seiya, and Mash are enjoying the feast when the ceremony begins. When Elulu has second thoughts, Seiya saves her. Leviae reveals that the she anticipated that this might happen so she laced their food with a paralytic. However, Seiya counters that he only pretended to eat, explaining why the drug did not work on him. Leviae decides to confront Seiya.
During the confrontation, Leviae activates the Death Sentence Necklace that Elulu was wearing. When she refuses to lift the curse, Seiya fights Leviae head on, taking out half of her HP with his specially crafted Dragon slayer (synthesized from dragonkin and Rista's hair). Leviae then activates Ultimate Wall to buff up her defense, but then Seiya uses Speed Seeds and two Dragon slayers to push her to fall into the abyss. Feigning her surrender, Leviae attempts to kill Seiya with her dragon breath. However, he manages to defeat her by using wind slash, pushing her into the cliff. When she attempts to fly out, she realizes her wings have holes in them, which Seiya inflicted before she used Ultimate Wall. Outmaneuvered Leviae falls into the abyss and dies.
Afterwards, Igzasion supposedly appears, forged from Leviae and dragonkin blood by Seiya. Once everyone leaves the village, Rista questions Seiya whether the sword was actually the true Igzasion. He admits to Ristarte alone that the sword he acquired is not Igzasion, but only a Platinum Sword Plus. He put on a show to put the dragon people's minds to ease after Leviae's death.
The gang is then confronted by a group of knights.

The anime makes no mention of the Dragonkin having killed Mash and Elulu's families for having been against the ritual.
